On the 18th, KBS1's 'Morning Yard' aired a special 'Filial Piety (孝) Concert' for Family Month. Musicians such as Tae Jin-ah, Kim Yong-im, soprano Kim Sun-young, baritone Woo Kyung-sik, and traditional musician Jo Ella gathered in one place.
Choi Seong-su revealed, "I never saw my mother sleeping. When I woke up, she was awake, and I went to sleep first. She devoted herself to me that much."
He continued, "I feel like crying whenever I think of my mother. It's strange every May. I feel good just thinking of her. I think of my mother here."
Then Choi Seong-su added, "I am very happy and grateful to be here as a singer. I hope everyone enjoys Family Month in May through this event. I will also enjoy it wholeheartedly."

Choi Seong-su, who is 60 years old this year, debuted in 1983 with the song 'Geudaeneun Moreusideorida' (You Did Not Know). He went on to win the MBC Top 10 Singers Award in 1988 and the KBS Top 10 Singers Award in 1989.
