View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daeseop] The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 15th that it held an online video consultation meeting inviting overseas buyers to support companies struggling to develop overseas markets due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The consultation meeting was held from the 23rd of last month to the 8th at the Small and Medium Business e-Biz Support Center in Mokdong, Seoul. The Corporation invited more than 32 prominent buyers from 17 countries worldwide. Seventy-seven domestic small and medium enterprises also participated, recording consultation results worth approximately 9 million USD.
The Corporation plans to provide follow-up support using trade experts to ensure that the consultation content leads to actual contracts. For participating companies, they plan to actively support ▲ production of customized corporate content ▲ entry into promising local online platforms ▲ pre-shipment sample delivery support utilizing the Corporation’s overseas bases.

Jung Jin-woo, Head of the Corporation’s Global Growth Division, said, "In collaboration with regional Small and Medium Venture Business Offices, we plan to hold additional themed video consultation meetings monthly until August this year, including companies selected for BrandK."
