Previously, Sergeant A from the Cyber Operations Command and Captain B from an Army direct unit in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, were infected with COVID-19 after visiting an Itaewon club frequented by the 'Yongin patient number 66.' The military accepted voluntary reports from soldiers who used entertainment facilities in the Itaewon area from the 24th of last month to the 6th of this month. The military plans to impose enhanced penalties according to regulations if soldiers who did not report their visits to Itaewon are found.
