Reckless Teenager Arrested for Car Theft Using Stolen Passenger Car 'Warrant'

On the 13th, Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station announced that they have applied for an arrest warrant for Lee (18) on charges of theft for driving stolen passenger cars and stealing valuables and cash from unlocked vehicles.
Lee is accused of entering an unlocked passenger car parked in a villa parking lot in Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, at 12:44 a.m. on the 10th, driving away using the stored key, and stealing 3 million won in cash from another vehicle parked in a different villa parking lot at 7:40 a.m. the same day.
Investigations revealed that Lee stole valuables and cash worth a total of approximately 27.5 million won in eight incidents between the 6th and 11th using the same method.
