White House National Security Advisor: "I Think Kim Jong-un Is Doing Well"
[Asia Economy New York=Correspondent Baek Jong-min] Robert O'Brien, White House National Security Advisor, mentioned that he believes Kim Jong-un, Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of North Korea, is doing well.
On the 12th (local time), in response to a question about Kim's condition, Advisor O'Brien said, "He appears to have come out cutting the tape at a fertilizer factory," adding, "Our thought is that he is probably doing well."
Advisor O'Brien stated, "They (North Korea) have released photos showing that he (Kim Jong-un) is alive and well, and we assume that to be the case."

Regarding whether the authenticity of the photos released by North Korea has been verified, he said, "I cannot speak definitively either way," but added, "Those are publicly released photos, so we are looking at the same photos."
