Jangseong-gun, 2nd Call for Yellow City Architectural Design Support Project
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Gil-su] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 11th that it will conduct the second round of the ‘Yellow City Architectural Design Support Project,’ utilizing the image of ‘Yellow City Jangseong,’ until the 20th.
Previously, Jangseong-gun implemented the first support project in February, and due to an overwhelming number of inquiries from residents even after the first round ended, the second project was launched.
The project budget of 80 million KRW was secured through the supplementary budget in March.
So far, Jangseong-gun has been promoting ‘Yellow City Color Marketing,’ inspired by the Hwangryong River, redesigning the city with yellow, symbolizing the wealth and happiness of its residents.
Through this project, the county supports residents who wish to apply the ‘Yellow City’ design to privately owned buildings.
The support target is private buildings within the jurisdiction with an area of 200㎡ (60 pyeong) or more, and the support amount is provided differentially according to the size of the building.
Small-scale buildings with a painting area of less than 300㎡ are supported up to 3 million KRW, and medium to large buildings with a painting area of 300㎡ or more are supported up to 4 million KRW.
Selected applicants through the first document screening will receive subsidies after landscape agreements, design reviews, and painting work.
