Gyeonggi Urban Corporation to Support Up to 100 Million KRW for Jeonse Deposits
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation is promoting a Jeonse deposit support project.
The Jeonse deposit support project is a program independently implemented by Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation for the housing welfare of Gyeonggi residents. The support limit per household is up to 100 million KRW, covering up to 85% of the deposit.
The total number of households to be recruited this time is 50, and the initial support period is 2 years, with the possibility of renewal up to twice if eligibility requirements are met.
Since last year, Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation has lowered the annual interest rate from 2.72% to 2% and extended the support period from a maximum of 4 years to 6 years to reduce the housing cost burden on tenants.
Applicants must be members of a non-homeowner household registered in Gyeonggi Province, and the household's average monthly income must meet the standard of 75% or less of the previous year's average monthly income of urban workers' households.
Applications can be submitted in person or by mail from the 21st of this month to the 4th of next month.
