[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Two teenage brothers who recently entered the United States and were self-quarantining at their home in Daejeon tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the city on the 11th, the brothers returned home to their residence in Yuseong-gu by their mother's car after arriving from the United States on the 8th, and while under quarantine, they tested positive for COVID-19.
The city plans to transfer the brothers to the negative pressure ward at Chungnam National University Hospital for inpatient treatment. Their current health condition has been confirmed to be good.
A city official stated, "The new confirmed cases moved to their home for self-quarantine after entering the country," adding, "It has been confirmed that there were no contacts other than their mother, and COVID-19 testing will also be conducted on the mother."
