'Jung-gu is an Arts University' is an autonomous district-type arts university established last year through a collaboration between the Jung-gu Cultural Foundation, private cultural facilities, and university facilities. Seoul citizens interested in the fields of culture and arts can attend lectures for free. Applications can be submitted through the Chungmu Art Center website until the 19th of this month.
'Jung-gu is an Arts University' consists of ▲Children's Campus ▲Youth Campus ▲Resident Campus, offering 13 courses across various genres such as design, video, publishing, music, and fine arts. The Resident Campus reflects artistic experience and interest levels, and based on last year's high response and analysis of areas for improvement, it offers step-by-step basic and advanced courses in genres like visual arts, drawing, and publishing. The newly established Children and Youth Campuses this year are based at Chungmu Art Center, providing opportunities to enhance creativity and expand artistic experience and activities, structured as fusion arts education programs combining music + fine arts, literature + design, and more. After course completion, outstanding students will be connected to arts university monitoring and coordinator job creation opportunities.
Yoon Jin-ho, president of the Jung-gu Cultural Foundation, said, "'Jung-gu is an Arts University,' continuing for the second year, is a special arts program unique to Jung-gu, uniting cultural facilities, university facilities, and artists in Jung-gu.
