Over 12,000 Applicants Flock to Gyeonggi Province's 21 Public Institutions' 'Integrated Recruitment'

Gyeonggi Province announced on the 10th that a total of 12,084 people applied for the first integrated recruitment this year of 21 public institutions under its jurisdiction, recruiting a total of 194 people, showing an average competition rate of 62.3 to 1.
Looking at the competition rate by institution, Gyeonggi Tourism Organization recorded the highest competition rate of 465 to 1, with 465 applicants for one position.
Next were Gyeonggi Province Disabled Sports Association (1 position) with 255 to 1, Gyeonggi Market and Commercial Promotion Agency (3 positions) with 147 to 1, Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation (13 positions) with 120.3 to 1, Kintex (9 positions) with 109.3 to 1, and Gyeonggi Technopark (7 positions) with 100 to 1.
Gyeonggi Urban Innovation Corporation, recruiting 60 people, attracted the largest number of applicants with 3,417 (57 to 1).
Gyeonggi Province accepted applications through the integrated recruitment website for public institutions from the 27th of last month to the 4th of this month.
The integrated recruitment written exam will be held on the 23rd.
Details such as the exam location will be announced on the 14th through the integrated recruitment website for Gyeonggi public institutions.
After the written exam, document screening, interview, and final selection will be conducted independently by each public institution.
A provincial official explained, "Since the start of the integrated recruitment for public institution employees in 2015, the largest number of institutions have participated in the screening this time, and combined with the employment difficulties caused by COVID-19, the number of applicants has reached an all-time high."
