Kang Shin-wook, Commissioner of Statistics Korea, Participates in 'Flower Bucket Challenge' to Support Floriculture Farmers
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] Kang Shinwook, Commissioner of the Korea National Statistical Office, participated in the "Flower Bucket Challenge" campaign on the 8th to support flower farmers struggling due to COVID-19.
The Flower Bucket Challenge is a relay campaign where participants gift flower baskets and nominate the next person to help flower farmers who have been hit hard by reduced flower consumption caused by event cancellations such as graduations and entrance ceremonies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kang Shinwook, Commissioner of the Korea National Statistical Office, joined this relay campaign after being nominated by Jeong Mugeong, Administrator of the Public Procurement Service, and nominated Jeong Jaesuk, Administrator of the Cultural Heritage Administration, as the next participant.

Kang Shinwook said, "As we enter May, the month of family, I hope this campaign leads to a movement where families gift flowers to each other," and sent a message to Jeong Jaesuk of the Cultural Heritage Administration, saying, "I support the Cultural Heritage Administration, which is providing comfort and courage to the public through various contents such as healing videos of cultural heritage in nature."
