Film 'Daewoebi: The Birth of Power' Starts Filming
Casting of Jo Jin-woong, Lee Sung-min, and Kim Mu-yeol
Actors Jo Jin-woong, Lee Sung-min, and Kim Mu-yeol join forces in the film Confidential: The Birth of Power. According to distributor Megabox Joongang Plus M, filming began on the 30th of last month in Busan. This is the new work by director Lee Won-tae, who directed the 2019 film The Outlaws. The story depicts the betrayal and conspiracy among three men engaged in dangerous deals driven by their desires for money, power, and fame. Jo Jin-woong portrays Jeon Hae-woong, who endures 20 years without anyone's help and challenges a parliamentary election. Lee Sung-min plays Kwon Soon-tae, a secretive power broker, while Kim Mu-yeol takes on the role of Kim Pil-do, an organization boss who only cares about money. The film is scheduled for release next year.
