Park stated, "Out-of-school youth, including 91 students from unauthorized alternative schools, totaling 279 individuals, were not included as recipients of this package," and emphasized, "As I urged support and attention for out-of-school youth during the 5-minute free speech at the 237th extraordinary meeting, these youth are the ones who need care more than anyone else in the national disaster situation caused by COVID-19."
She continued, "Out-of-school youth should receive the same treatment as students within the formal education system," and requested, "Please do not forget that they are also subjects who need care from adults."
