Jangseong-gun Supports Installation of Residential Low-NOx Boilers
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Gil-su] Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 6th that it will carry out the ‘2020 Household Low-NOx Boiler Installation Support Project,’ which has a significant effect on reducing nitrogen oxides (NOx, hereafter NOx), one of the air pollutants, and has high energy efficiency.
Low-NOx boilers are boilers with an evaporation capacity of less than 0.1 tons per hour and are products certified by the Environmental Label of the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute.
This year, the county plans to provide subsidies for installing household low-NOx boilers for a total of 15 units: 10 units for general households and 5 units for low-income households. The subsidy per unit is 200,000 KRW for general households and 500,000 KRW for low-income households.
Residents of Jangseong-gun who wish to install or replace low-NOx boilers must first check the possibility of installing low-NOx boilers through dealerships or installation companies and then sign a contract.
