Kongju National University of Education Hosts 6th Book Manuscript Contest with Total Prize Money of 30 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] The Publishing and Culture Institute of Korea National Open University announced on the 6th that it will hold the 6th Book Manuscript Contest until October 13.
This contest, open to the entire nation, covers all fields except creative literature and self-development, including humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, engineering, and general knowledge books, as well as the Arori series section dealing with history, education, culture, philosophy, writing, social sciences, literature, criticism, and science.
To apply, download the application form from the Publishing and Culture Institute’s website notice board, fill it out, and send three printed copies each of the complete manuscript (general knowledge books: at least 1,000 sheets of 200-character manuscript paper; Arori series: about 600 sheets of 200-character manuscript paper) or writing plan (at least 100 sheets of 200-character manuscript paper) by mail to the person in charge of the book manuscript contest at the Publishing and Culture Institute.

The prize money for the general knowledge book category is 10 million KRW for one grand prize winner and 5 million KRW each for three excellence award winners. For the Arori series category, two winners will be selected, each receiving a prize of 2.5 million KRW.
