Welcome Financial Group Executive Donates Government Emergency Disaster Relief Fund
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Min-young] Welcome Financial Group announced on the 7th that it has decided to donate the government's emergency disaster relief funds.
The emergency disaster relief funds are disaster relief payments provided by the government to all citizens to help households struggling due to the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
Welcome Financial's executives, about 30 in total, working at its affiliates including Welcome FND, Welcome Savings Bank, Welcome Crediline Loan, Welix Rental, Welix Capital, and Welcome Payments, have decided to donate the emergency disaster relief funds scheduled to be paid this month. The intention is for the funds to be used to support vulnerable groups facing difficulties due to COVID-19. Regular employees will participate in the donation voluntarily.
