This campaign was a measure in response to the expected surge in travel demand during the "Golden Holiday" period from the 30th of last month to the 5th.
Accordingly, as the number of people resuming outdoor activities increased due to relaxed social distancing, the province continuously spread messages online throughout the holiday period encouraging mask-wearing, hand washing, and refraining from going out. Additionally, cultural tourism interpreters were assigned to major tourist sites during the holiday to provide not only tourism explanations but also guidance to visitors to comply with safety rules and maintain social distancing.
During the recent holiday, 11 dedicated teams were formed to inspect the readiness of 82 major tourist facilities in the province, including the provision of hand sanitizers and thermometers. They distributed "COVID-19 Prevention Action Guidelines" to visitors and conducted campaigns urging tourists to wear masks and maintain a 2-meter social distance.
