[Public Notice+] Sunic System Signs Supply Contract Worth 27.7 Billion KRW with Chinese BOE
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Sunic System announced on the 4th through a public disclosure that it has signed a supply contract worth 27.68952 billion KRW with Kunming BOE Display Technology (hereinafter BOE). The contract amount accounts for 31.6% of last year's consolidated sales, and the contract period is until November 6.
The equipment that Sunic System supplies to BOE is deposition equipment for OLEDoS, which will be applied to the mass production line. OLEDoS is a technology that deposits organic light-emitting diode (OLED) on a silicon substrate (semiconductor wafer) instead of the conventional glass substrate, enabling the realization of much more precise ultra-high-resolution displays. This technology is expected to be mainly applied to augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) devices that require ultra-high-resolution displays.
