'Desperate Housewives' Sam Lloyd Passes Away Due to Lung Cancer Complications
[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Hee-eun Park] Hollywood actor Sam Lloyd has passed away at the age of 56.
On the 1st (local time), the American media Variety quoted Sam Lloyd's agent, stating that Sam Lloyd died on the 30th of last month due to complications from lung cancer.
Earlier, in January of last year, Sam Lloyd was diagnosed with a brain tumor and cancer. Subsequently, the cancer metastasized to his lungs, jaw, and liver, worsening his health. This diagnosis came just weeks after his wife Vanessa gave birth to their first child, adding to the sorrow.
Sam Lloyd appeared in films and TV shows such as "Rising Sun," "Flubber," "Dumb and Dumber," "Desperate Housewives," "Modern Family," and "Shameless."
