'2020 Geumcheon-gu Proposal Contest' to Improve the Lives of Geumcheon Residents

[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Geumcheon-gu (Mayor Yuseong Hoon) will conduct the "Spread Your Wings of Thought, 2020 Geumcheon-gu Proposal Contest" from the 4th to the 22nd to realize resident-participation administration based on communication with residents.
This contest invites all ideas from residents that can contribute to the development of the district, including institutional improvements to enhance the quality of life for residents.
Anyone interested in district administration, including Geumcheon-gu residents or members of workplaces, schools, or organizations located in Geumcheon-gu, can apply.
Proposals can be submitted by registering on the online platform "Geumcheon 1st Street" website (https://www.geumcheon.go.kr/1st/index.do) under the "Open Resident Proposal Room," or by downloading the proposal application form from the district website (www.geumcheon.go.kr) under "Notices and Announcements," filling it out, and submitting it by mail or in person to the 7th floor of Geumcheon-gu Office, Village Autonomy Division, or via email (jyh3010@geumcheon.go.kr).
Submitted proposals will be reviewed through practical screening and deliberation by the Proposal Review Committee, with awards including Grand Prize (1,000,000 KRW), Excellence Award (500,000 KRW), Encouragement Award (300,000 KRW), and Effort Proposal Award (50,000 KRW), with plans to hold the award ceremony in June.
The online platform "Geumcheon 1st Street" is a resident participation platform established and operated by the district to allow residents to directly propose, discuss, and create policies to solve local issues.
