Lotte Mart Holds Event to Fill a Whole Container with Tomatoes
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] Lotte Mart is holding an event to fill a whole container with tomatoes.
Lotte Mart announced on the 3rd that until the 6th, they will gather 15 types of tomatoes sold at Lotte Mart, including cherry tomatoes, cluster tomatoes, Daejeo tomatoes, and fully ripe tomatoes, and sell them at one price. Due to the difficulty in storing tomatoes, Lotte Mart has been supporting tomato farmers who face challenges in sales by selling a total of 60,000 boxes, amounting to 130 tons, of cherry tomatoes since the 15th of last month. This "fill a whole container with tomatoes" event is also prepared as part of that effort.
The price is set at 9,980 won exclusively for L.Point members.

Lotte Mart previously sold full containers of various items such as oranges, kiwis, Korean melons, apples, and chestnuts. The full container sales method showed about 23% higher sales compared to regular sales methods.
