Accordingly, the cumulative number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in mainland China stands at 82,875, with 4,633 deaths.
The National Health Commission of China announced on the 2nd that there was 1 new confirmed case and no deaths in mainland China on the 1st. The newly confirmed case (in Jilin Province) was imported from Russia. Mi Feng, spokesperson for the National Health Commission, stated at a briefing that the number of new confirmed cases on the 1st was the lowest since January 16.
