[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Hye-sun] This year, the individual house with the highest publicly announced price in Gyeonggi-do was revealed to be the residence of Chung Yong-jin, Vice Chairman of Shinsegae Group (photo).
Gyeonggi-do announced on the 29th the publicly announced prices of individual houses for about 510,000 households in the province as of January 1 this year.
The house with the highest publicly announced price is Vice Chairman Chung's residence (total floor area 3,049㎡) located next to Namseoul Golf Course in Baekhyeon-dong, Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si. The publicly announced price was 14.9 billion KRW.
On the other hand, the house with the lowest price was a detached house (total floor area 29㎡) in Guri-si, with a publicly announced price of 1.25 million KRW.
The publicly announced prices of individual houses in the province increased by an average of 4.67% compared to the previous year. Among about 510,000 individual houses subject to price announcement, about 390,000 households (76.4%) saw price increases, while 33,000 households (6.5%) saw decreases.
