Social Enterprise GrapeLab Launches Eco-Friendly Paper Flower Box Kit
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Eco-friendly social enterprise Grape Lab has launched a scented flower box D.I.Y kit made from eco-friendly paper in celebration of May, the month of family.
Grape Lab's flower box D.I.Y kit allows the maker to personally arrange flowers with care and gift their own unique flower box. Grape Lab devoted great effort to ensuring that even the time spent making it becomes a happy moment by highlighting the beauty of each individual flower. When the box is opened, a pop-up style paper flower from traditional Korean folk paintings blooms richly with fragrance. The recycled paper, made without cutting down trees, meets with a solid diffuser to be reborn as a fragrant flower that never withers.
To use paper that does not involve cutting trees, the paper flowers are made from 100% eco-friendly recycled paper, and the envelope is made from sugarcane fiber, using 100% eco-friendly non-wood paper. In particular, sugarcane fiber contains no petrochemical components, making it 100% naturally biodegradable and crafted to give a natural feel. It has also passed FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification and the European Union children's toy safety standards, ensuring it is safe for children to use.
Inside the box are nineteen Korean flowers that provide a subtle beauty found in our traditional folk paintings. Rather than dazzling at first sight, these traditional flowers from Korean folk paintings are modernly reinterpreted to offer both sophistication and an oriental sensibility that becomes more beautiful the longer you look.
