The Future United Party to Reattempt Standing National Committee and National Committee Meetings on July 6-7
[Asia Economy Reporters Lee Ji-eun and Kim Hye-min] The United Future Party held an executive committee meeting and decided to reschedule the Standing National Committee and the National Committee for August 6-7, and to extend the term of the Emergency Response Committee Chairperson (Emergency Chairperson) to one year.
Cho Kyung-tae, a senior member of the United Future Party, told reporters after the executive meeting held at the National Assembly on the 29th, "It was decided to hold the Standing National Committee and the National Committee on the 6th or 7th."
He said, "Although I opposed it, there was a proposal to hold the Standing National Committee again to extend the term of the Emergency Chairperson to one year, and an opinion to reopen the Standing National Committee," adding, "(This is) not to delete the party constitution clause that schedules the party convention by the end of August, but to extend the term by about one year."
