Four Dead in Fire at Icheon Logistics Warehouse Construction Site... Human Casualties Expected to Rise
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] At around 1:32 PM on the 29th, a fire broke out at a logistics warehouse construction site in Sogori, Moga-myeon, Icheon-si, Gyeonggi-do.
The fire department issued a Level 2 fire response at 1:53 PM and deployed 139 firefighters along with 69 fire trucks and pump trucks to extinguish the fire.
As of 3:30 PM that day, at least four people had died, and seven people with serious and minor injuries were transported to nearby hospitals. The fire authorities believe the number of casualties may increase.

A Fire Agency official stated, "It appears the fire started at the underground construction site of the logistics warehouse," adding, "The exact number of casualties is still being confirmed."
