Yeonggwang-gun Additional Recruitment of Participants for the 'Workshop Street Project Dreamed by Youth'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Jeon Seong] Yeonggwang-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Kim Junsung) announced on the 29th that it will recruit 4 additional teams to participate in the 'Youth Dream Workshop Street Creation Project' until the 12th of next month.
This project was selected through a contest in the second half of last year as part of the Jeonnam Population New Hope Finding Project. It provides startup spaces for young people by utilizing vacant stores in the old downtown area of Yeonggwang-eup, supporting remodeling costs and rent for up to 2 years to help youth become independent.
Additionally, through continuous management such as consulting and education, the project aims not only to create jobs but also to revitalize the local commercial district.
Eligibility for participation is unemployed youth aged 18 to 45 who reside (or plan to reside) in the county.
Applications can be submitted by downloading the form from the Youth Center Cheongchun Workshop website notice board, then applying via the website, email, or by visiting the county youth center in person.
The county announced the recruitment of participants from the 6th to the 22nd of this month and selected 6 teams in the first round. Among the selected teams, there was one multicultural family team and two teams from outside the region, contributing not only to diverse projects but also to increasing the county population.
