According to China Central Television (CCTV) on the 29th, China announced that the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, a political advisory body, is confirmed to be held in Beijing on the 21st of next month. It added that the plenary session of the legislative body, the National People's Congress, will also be held in Beijing on the 22nd of next month.
The Two Sessions were originally scheduled to be held in early March but were postponed due to the spread of COVID-19. At that time, China announced the postponement of the Two Sessions to ensure the life, health, and safety of the people.
