The Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight on that day, the number of confirmed domestic cases increased by 9 compared to the previous day.
Among the new patients, 5 were imported cases and 4 were locally transmitted. Three patients were identified during quarantine.
By region, Daegu had the highest number with 3 cases, followed by Gyeonggi with 2, and Chungnam with 1.
