Monthly Rent 50,000~130,000 KRW ... Gyeongnam-Style Youth Shared Housing 'Geobuki House No.1' Opens
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] Gyeongsangnam-do announced on the 29th that it opened the doors of 'Geobuk-i House No. 1,' a Gyeongnam-style shared housing for youth, on the 28th.
Geobuk-i House, a customized youth housing in Gyeongnam, is inspired by the image of a turtle carrying its home on its back. Although it is not a large or luxurious house, the project aims to enable young people to have one house per person. It symbolizes a home that, although moving at a slow pace now, gives hope that it can one day surpass the rabbit. It also reflects Gyeongsangnam-do's commitment to continuously implementing housing support policies for youth.
The newly opened Geobuk-i House No. 1 is a shared house created by remodeling the existing dormitory of the Gyeongnam Development Corporation handball team. It is rented out at half the market price to university students, young workers, and job seekers. The two-story building consists of a total of seven rooms, and a beam projector is installed in the shared space where residents can communicate and interact with each other.
For the safety of the residents, digital door locks and CCTV have been installed in private spaces, and a green lawn yard has also been provided.
Applicants for Geobuk-i House No. 1 were recruited from December last year, targeting university students in the Gyeongnam area, job seekers, and young workers aged 19 to 39. Fifteen people applied, with two currently residing and plans for three more to move in soon.
