Pulmuone Launches 4 Types of 'Big Chunk Topping Rice Bowl Sauces' with Large Tofu Pieces
[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Saeng-hye] Pulmuone Foods announced on the 29th that it has launched four types of fresh rice bowl sauces called ‘Keun Geondeogi Deopbap Sauce’ (170g, 2,580 KRW), which are richly filled with large chunks and enhance the flavor of freshly cooked food.
Keun Geondeogi Deopbap Sauce is a product that can be simply heated and placed directly on top of rice. It features tofu cut into large pieces used in different ways and is available in four varieties: Mapo Tofu, Cheonggukjang Tofu, Mala Tofu, and Gangdoenjang Tofu.
The tofu is cut into large 1.5 cm pieces and contains plenty of domestic pork and various vegetables. It improves on the shortcomings of existing rice bowl sauces, which have small chunks that easily crumble, allowing consumers to enjoy the original taste and texture of the ingredients. The seasoning is made according to Pulmuone’s additive-free principle, with a mild flavor that blends smoothly with rice.
The cooking method is also simple. Without opening the product pouch, just place it in the microwave and heat for 1 minute and 30 seconds, then put it on rice to eat. The ‘steam pack pouch’ used in the product helps maintain flavor by preventing moisture evaporation. Since there is no need to open it during cooking, there is no risk of contents splattering inside the microwave.
