Busan City-Education Office-Police Agency, Special Inspection of Academy Districts Until the 4th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Ju Cheol-in] The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education will crack down on private academies that open during the government's social distancing relaxation period.
The Office of Education announced on the 28th that it will form a special joint inspection team with Busan City, basic local governments, and the National Police Agency to recommend the closure of academies until the 4th of next month and conduct special inspections on academies that have opened.
The special joint inspection team will be organized and operated with a total of 30 members in 10 teams, with 10 members each from the Office of Education, Busan City, and the Police Agency.
The inspection teams will focus on recommending the closure of entrance exam and tutoring academies and will concentrate on guiding and inspecting whether the academies have complied with mandatory quarantine guidelines.
