Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Launches Foreign Language Volume-Based Waste Bags
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 28th that it has started selling volume-based waste bags with Korean alongside English, Chinese, and Russian characters.
The foreign language volume-based waste bags from Gwangsan-gu were prepared for foreigners who are unfamiliar with the volume-based waste bag disposal method when throwing away general waste.
Currently, 48 out of 229 basic local governments nationwide produce foreign language volume-based waste bags.
The volume-based waste bags released by Gwangsan-gu this time feature a polar bear with a speech bubble illustrating the separation of recyclable items such as glass bottles, PET bottles, and milk cartons, differentiating them from other local governments.
