GC녹십자엠에스, Q1 Turnaround to Profit... Operating Profit of 520 Million KRW
[Asia Economy Reporter Cho Hyun-ui] GC Green Cross MS has succeeded in turning a profit in the first quarter.
On the 28th, GC Green Cross MS announced preliminarily that its operating profit for the first quarter, based on consolidated financial statements, turned positive to 520 million KRW.
During the same period, sales increased by 15.7% year-on-year to 21.592 billion KRW. Net profit also turned positive to 419 million KRW.
GC Green Cross MS explained, "The improved performance was driven by strong sales across our core businesses, including diagnostic devices and hemodialysis fluids." According to the company, exports of glycated hemoglobin measuring devices grew by 288% compared to the same period last year, and domestic and international sales of influenza diagnostic kits increased by 220%.
