Jinju City Adds Two More Research Institute Companies in the 'Small Giant R&D Special Zone'
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kang Sharon] Jinju City in Gyeongnam announced on the 28th that two additional research institute companies have been established within the Gangso Research and Development Special Zone.
The newly registered research institute companies, KXT and Goodsera, will receive patented technologies from the Korea Ceramic Technology Institute and proceed with technology commercialization.
KXT has selected the "Hot Zone Upper Part Openable Single Crystal Solution Growth Device" as its commercialization technology and plans to develop single crystal growth devices used in next-generation industries such as electric vehicles and aerospace, expanding its product range.
Goodsera, newly founded by acquiring the patent "Flame-Retardant FRP Composite and Its Manufacturing Method" owned by the Korea Ceramic Technology Institute, aims to develop flame-retardant FRP composites widely used not only in aircraft but also in ships, automobiles, and equipment, and to expand its product range.

Jinju City expressed expectations that "just two months after ANH Systems was registered as the first research institute company in the Jinju Gangso Research and Development Special Zone in February, two more research institute companies have been established, signaling the full-scale promotion of the Gangso Research and Development Special Zone development project."
