Gyeonggi Institute of Economy and Science Launches Support for Upcycled Material Commercialization
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] The Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency is recruiting companies to participate in the 'Upcycle Material Enterprise Commercialization Support Project' until the 12th of next month.
The Upcycle Material Enterprise Commercialization Support Project is designed to support the commercialization of upcycle companies in the province that possess innovative products or technologies, thereby promoting the recycling of waste resources and advancing the upcycle industry.
The Gyeonggi Economic Science Agency will provide up to 40 million KRW in commercialization funds per company to two selected companies.
The commercialization funds can be used for intellectual property application/registration, analysis, certification fees, promotion and marketing expenses, space rental fees, participation fees for exhibitions and fairs, among others.
Eligibility requires being a small or medium-sized enterprise located in the province that possesses upcycle products or technologies utilizing at least one type of waste resource such as waste vinyl, waste plastic, waste banners, or waste paper.
The Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of the product or technology must be at level 5 to 9 or higher.
