Jeju's 11th COVID-19 Patient Tests Positive Again 6 Days After Discharge
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] Jeju Province announced on the 27th that a man in his 30s, the 11th confirmed case of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the province, tested positive again after discharge and was readmitted to the negative pressure isolation room at Jeju National University Hospital.
According to Jeju Province, this man was confirmed positive on the 3rd, met the criteria for release from isolation, and was discharged on the 21st. Following the province's guidelines for managing discharged patients, he has been self-isolating at home while undergoing regular monitoring by the public health center.
Then, six days after discharge, at around 9 a.m., he was transported by a public health center ambulance to Jeju Public Health Center for specimen collection, and at around 5 p.m., he was confirmed positive again. It is reported that he showed no particular symptoms during the regular monitoring process.
