[Asia Top Brand] KB Live M, No-Contract Non-Face-to-Face Self-Activation... Life Feels Good
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] KB Kookmin Bank has been actively launching a new mobile service called 'Liiv M,' which integrates finance and telecommunications, since December last year. This service was designated as an innovative financial service (financial regulatory sandbox) that received regulatory exemptions from the Financial Services Commission in April last year.
The brand name Liiv M's 'M' stands for making (Make) the simplification of online financial transactions, providing the best (Most) service to customers, and offering more (More) consumer experiences and benefits.
It features simplified contract systems and complex rate plans compared to existing telecom providers, offering no-contract options, easy sign-up through mobile web, simple and reasonable rate plans, the first MVNO 5G rate plan launch, and convenient financial transactions. All rate plans include unlimited voice calls and text messages by default, and subscribers only need to choose their monthly data usage, making it a simple and reasonable rate plan. If subscribers do not use all the data in their chosen plan, the unused data is converted into 'Liiv Mate' Pointree, which can be used like cash. Liiv M allows fully non-face-to-face 'self-activation' through mobile web. It also implements a 'same-day arrival delivery service' that completes USIM delivery on the day of subscription.
