Overseas Koreans Previously Stranded Gradually Returning Home (Comprehensive)
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] Overseas Koreans who were stranded abroad and unable to return home due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) are gradually coming back.
According to the Korean Consulate General in Vladivostok on the 25th, 30 Koreans in Russia boarded a special flight arranged by Russia and departed for home that morning. This flight is scheduled to arrive at Incheon International Airport at around 12:10 PM (Korean time) that day.
The 30 Koreans underwent a fever check before boarding the plane, and the Consulate General reported that none showed any abnormalities. After entering Korea, the Koreans must also undergo diagnostic testing and observe a mandatory 14-day self-quarantine.

Fifteen Koreans are also returning from Fiji in the South Pacific. They are scheduled to arrive at Incheon Airport at around 7:55 PM after transiting through Narita, Japan, using a special flight arranged by Japan. The passengers will transfer to an Incheon-bound flight at Narita Airport, and all flight costs for the Fiji?Narita and Narita?Incheon segments are reported to be borne by the passengers themselves.
