About 10 Korean Residents Stranded in South Pacific Fiji Arrive in Incheon Today
[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] On the 25th, about 10 Korean residents in Fiji, South Pacific, embarked on their journey back to Korea.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the day, 15 Korean residents who had been unable to return from Fiji due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) are scheduled to arrive at Incheon Airport around 7:55 PM after transiting through Narita, Japan, using a special flight arranged by Japan.
The Korean Embassy in Fiji has been searching for flights together with the Korean Association to assist Korean residents stranded locally due to COVID-19.
During this process, the embassy obtained information about Japan’s special flights arranged to repatriate Japanese students and facilitated the boarding of Korean residents.
