COVID-19, 10 New Cases... Zero Additional Deaths for 2 Consecutive Days

[Asia Economy Reporter Oh Ju-yeon] The number of new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) has remained around 10 for a week.
On the 25th, the Central Disease Control Headquarters announced that as of midnight, 10 additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed. Accordingly, the total cumulative confirmed cases reached 10,718.
The daily number of new confirmed cases has been around 10 for eight consecutive days. Following 18 cases on the 18th, there were 8 on the 19th, 13 on the 20th, 9 on the 21st, 11 on the 22nd, 8 on the 23rd, and 6 on the 24th.
Among the 10 new patients, 4 were imported cases, all identified during quarantine procedures. Of these, 2 were foreigners.
Among the 6 locally transmitted cases, 3 were from Daegu, 2 from Gyeonggi, and 1 from Seoul.
There were no new COVID-19 deaths domestically for two consecutive days, keeping the total death toll at 240.
The number of patients released from isolation after recovery increased by 134 the previous day, totaling 8,635, while the number of patients currently receiving isolation treatment decreased by 124 to 1,843.
