View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] Gasoline prices at gas stations nationwide have fallen for 13 consecutive weeks. Three days ago, the daily average price dropped to the 1,200 KRW range for the first time in 12 years.
According to the Korea National Oil Corporation's oil price information service Opinet on the 25th, the average gasoline price at gas stations nationwide in the fourth week of this month recorded 1,301.8 KRW per liter, down 29.0 KRW.
By region, the weekly gasoline prices in Seoul, Gyeonggi, Gangwon, Chungbuk, Chungnam, Jeonnam, and Jeju remained in the 1,300 KRW range.
The most expensive region for gasoline was Seoul at 1,394.1 KRW, while the cheapest was Daegu at 1,255.0 KRW. The price difference between the two regions was 139.1 KRW.
By brand, the lowest gasoline price was at Altteul gas stations at 1,273.0 KRW. SK Energy recorded the highest at 1,314.2 KRW.
Diesel prices also showed a downward trend, recording 1,112.0 KRW per liter.
