[Concall] POSCO "Defending Export Decline by Strengthening Domestic Market"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] POSCO stated on the 24th during the Q1 earnings conference call that it will "overcome the decline in export volume by expanding the domestic market." POSCO explained, "Currently, the company's export ratio is about 45%, with 10% of sales each in the Americas and Europe," adding, "However, sales volume is decreasing due to the impact of COVID-19, and the situation in India is expected to remain severe until early next month." It continued, "However, China is showing signs of recovery," and added, "We will proactively respond to the export shortfall by strengthening the domestic market and utilizing inventory held by overseas subsidiaries."
