Although there were expectations that it would be delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is reported that the joint exercise is being carried out at a normal level.
According to military officials on the 23rd, the Republic of Korea Air Force and the U.S. Forces Korea Air Force have been conducting a battalion-level joint air exercise since the 20th. The exercise is scheduled to continue until the 24th.
It is reported that South Korea’s F-15K and KF-16 fighters, as well as the U.S. Air Force’s F-16s, participated. U.S. overseas forces did not participate.
