Autonomous Wage Return Fundraising: 64 Million Won Delivered
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yoon Jamin] Employees of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanbit Nuclear Power Headquarters (Head Han Sang-wook) voluntarily returned wages totaling 64 million won and delivered them to neighbors in need to share the pain of 'COVID-19'.
According to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman No Dong-il) on the 23rd, Han Sang-wook, head of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanbit Nuclear Power Headquarters, employees, Kim Sang-gyun, secretary general of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, and other officials attended the delivery ceremony.
The donated funds will be used to support groceries and other supplies for 294 low-income people who have difficulty making a living due to 'COVID-19' in the Yeonggwang-gun area, 138 senior centers, and 10 local children's centers for the elderly and children.
Han, the head of the headquarters, said, "We decided to return wages with employees to help the local community struggling due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic," and added, "We hope that the prepared funds can be a help to families in crisis and neighbors in difficulty."
Kim Sang-gyun, secretary general of the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, said, "We thank the employees of Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. Hanbit Nuclear Power Headquarters who gathered their hearts to overcome COVID-19 despite the difficult situation," and added, "All the donated funds will be delivered to neighbors in difficulty due to COVID-19."
