On this day, members of the Nohwa-eup Youth Association, along with employees of the Nohwa-eup Office, participated together, shopping with both hands full of seafood, agricultural products, and more, bringing vitality to the traditional market.
Choo Gyo-hoon, head of Nohwa-eup, said, “I hope many people will visit the traditional market through this event,” adding, “We will continue to promote the traditional market usage campaign so that difficulties are resolved and the local economy is revitalized as soon as possible.”
Meanwhile, the Nohwa traditional market is a bi-monthly market held on the 2nd and 7th of every month, consisting of 20 market stalls and one street vendor, where shoppers can purchase fresh fish, fermented foods, seafood, dried fish, agricultural products, and more.
