Korea Forest Welfare Institute, Early Execution of Green New Deal Project Funds in the First Half of the Year
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The Korea Forest Welfare Institute announced on the 22nd that it will expedite the execution of the lottery fund green budget in the first half of the year as a measure to overcome the crisis caused by the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The total amount of the expedited budget is 34.9 billion KRW. To facilitate early budget execution, the Forest Welfare Institute will conduct monthly inspections chaired by the Director of the Green Fund Management Office to review the institution's budget execution status and project progress. Projects with delayed budget execution or progress will be closely managed through on-site inspections to ensure timely disbursement of funds.
