Gurye-gun Launches Support for Dementia Patient Care Supplies
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] On the 22nd, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that since the 13th, it has been conducting a full survey of dementia patients aged 60 and over, selecting 780 individuals and delivering care supplies including nutritional supplements.
The care supplies included two types of medicines such as nutritional supplements useful for dementia patients and three types of hygiene consumables.
An official from the Gurye-gun Dementia Safety Center stated, “We hope that these care supplies will provide some emotional comfort and economic support to dementia seniors and their families who have had limited activities due to social distancing.”
He added, “For the prevention and management of dementia, nutritional management and a regular lifestyle are most important,” and “We will strive to create a community safe from dementia.”
