On the 22nd, Yoon appeared on KBS Radio's "Kim Kyung-rae's Strongest Current Affairs" and said, "Hwang Kyo-ahn, who served as Prime Minister during the impeachment administration, came as the party leader. From the perspective of the people who carried out the impeachment, it looks like a denial of the impeachment. Would the people accept that?"
He continued, "The United Future Party, as a force that received the severe judgment of impeachment by the people, showed no reflection or repentance that should have been demonstrated."
He added, "The impeachment was carried out with the overwhelming approval of the people. Of course, it is true that the Moon Jae-in administration also disappointed people," but explained, "Whenever the United Future Party criticized President Moon or the Democratic Party, people always said, 'The criticism is valid, but does the United Future Party have the right to say that?'"
He also noted, "(Even those with conservative political tendencies) feel the same way. So I thought that if the United Future Party does not take this issue seriously, it could collapse in elections."
Yoon evaluated, "Since the general election is held in the middle of President Moon's term, it logically should be an election to judge the administration, but instead, it turned into a judgment against the opposition party. They misread public sentiment. Especially as a force that was impeached, they should have sensitively followed changes in public opinion, but they neglected such efforts."
Regarding the United Future Party's consecutive election defeats, he said, "They have lost four times in a row. This is unprecedented. We can only see it as the collapse of conservatism," adding, "It is extreme, but I hope conservatism collapses. Only then will new sprouts grow."

Regarding the United Future Party securing the constitutional amendment blocking line, he said, "Even while being thoroughly punished, that force (the opposition) was given the constitutional amendment blocking line. The Democratic Party must never be complacent," emphasizing, "The overwhelming support for the Democratic Party is honestly due to the thorough punishment of the other side, not because they managed state affairs well, and they must acknowledge this humbly."
