2 Additional COVID-19 Cases in Seoul... Total 628 Confirmed Patients
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] As of 10 a.m. on the 22nd, the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) increased by 2, totaling 628.
The two newly confirmed cases added on this day were both imported from overseas. A 30-year-old male resident of Mapo-gu who returned from Japan, and a 41-year-old female from Namyangju who returned from the United States and was reported positive in Jungnang-gu, were confirmed positive the previous day.
Accordingly, among the confirmed cases in Seoul, 249 were related to overseas contact.

By district, Gangnam-gu, which has many cases related to overseas contact, has the highest number with 62 cases, followed by Gwanak-gu with 42 cases, and Seocho-gu and Songpa-gu with 37 cases each.
